Game description:

Tel-Tel Stadium is a baseball game developed by Sunsoft and released for the Sega Mega Drive in Japan in 1990. Originally notable for being one of the few titles to support the Sega Mega Modem for online dial-up multiplayer, it remains a solid traditional 16-bit sports title even without its networking features. It features teams inspired by the 1990 Nippon Professional Baseball rosters and uses a classic behind-the-batter perspective for pitching and hitting, switching to an overhead view for fielding.

How to play

The objective is to outscore the opposing team over nine innings in either exhibition matches or a full pennant race. Use the Arrow keys to aim pitches, position your batter, and move fielders. Press Enter to start or pause the game. Use Z, X, or C (A, B, and C) to swing the bat, select pitch types, or throw to specific bases when fielding.

Tips

  • When pitching, use the directional keys just as the ball is released to apply curve and change speed, keeping the batter guessing.
  • Monitor your pitcher’s stamina throughout the game. A tired pitcher loses velocity and control, making them much easier for the opposing team to hit.
