True Lies is a top-down action shooter developed by Beam Software and published by Acclaim in 1994 for the Sega Genesis, based on James Cameron’s blockbuster film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. How to play
Harry navigates overhead-view levels — hotel corridors, warehouses, and outdoor plazas — clearing rooms of Crimson Jihad gunmen while collecting weapons and health pickups. Each stage ends when you reach an exit point or defeat a boss. The default pistol has unlimited ammo; heavier weapons found in levels deal far more damage but are finite, so use them on groups or tougher enemies.

Tips
- Grab weapon pickups as soon as you spot them — SMGs and grenades clear rooms far faster than the starting pistol.
