Tapper is the Atari 2600 port of Midway’s 1983 bartending arcade game. You play a bartender managing multiple lanes at once: slide a mug to each advancing patron before they reach your end of the bar, then catch the empty glass they send back before it crashes off the other end. Miss a serve or a return and it costs a life; tips appear for bonus points when you have a moment to grab them.
How to play
Move between lanes and along the bar with the arrow keys, and press Spacebar to slide a mug. Drinks travel the full length of the bar, so time each shot. A second player can join on the same keyboard using TGFH to move and A to serve. F12 resets, F11 selects a game variant, and Alt+P pauses.
