Mutation Nation is a classic 1992 arcade beat ’em up developed by SNK for the Neo Geo. Set in a dystopian 2050, you battle your way through city streets and laboratories infested with bizarre mutants created by a mad scientist.
How to play
The objective is to survive waves of enemies using punches, jumps, and devastating special attacks. For standard arcade controls in the browser, press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start. Use the arrow keys to move, Z to attack, and X to jump.
Tips
- You can hold down the attack button to charge up powerful special moves, but be careful as this leaves you vulnerable while charging.
- Prioritize picking up the colored spheres dropped by enemies or found in crates, as they grant you spectacular elemental screen-clearing attacks.
