Super Chase: Criminal Termination is a first-person vehicular combat racing game released for the Arcade by Taito in 1992. As the third entry in the Chase H.Q. series, it shifts the perspective to a first-person view behind the dashboard as you pursue fleeing criminals across various stages. Players take the wheel of heavily modified vehicles, dodging civilian traffic and obstacles to catch up to the target vehicle, repeatedly ramming it until it is completely disabled before the timer runs out.
How to Play
Your objective is to reach the criminal’s vehicle before the stage timer expires and ram it until its damage meter is fully depleted. In the browser, the Arcade controls are typically mapped as follows:
- Insert Coin: 5 or Right Shift
- Start: 1 or Enter
- Steer: Arrow Keys
- Accelerate / Brake: Z / X (or Ctrl / Alt)
- Nitrous Turbo: Space or C
Tips
- Save your nitrous boosts until you have a clear, straight stretch of road and the target vehicle is in sight to maximize the ramming damage.
- Avoid civilian cars and roadside obstacles; crashing significantly reduces your speed and wastes precious time on the clock.
- Stay directly behind the target when ramming, as glancing blows from the side deal much less damage and can cause you to spin out.
