Puck Man (Japan Set 2) is an alternate ROM revision of Namco’s original 1980 arcade release — the maze-chase game that, once licensed to Midway for North America, was renamed Pac-Man and went on to become one of the most recognizable video games ever made. Guide the yellow Puck Man through a maze of glowing dots while four ghosts hunt you down, in the game credited with kicking off the golden age of arcade gaming.

How to Play

Clear every dot from the maze to advance. Four large Power Pellets in the corners briefly turn the ghosts blue and vulnerable, letting you eat them for bonus points before they recover and give chase again.

Tips

• Learn the ghosts’ patterns: the red ghost chases you directly, while the pink one tries to ambush by aiming for the spot ahead of you — reverse direction to throw it off.
• Use the side tunnels: Puck Man moves slightly faster than the ghosts while passing through the left and right warp tunnels, making them a reliable escape route.
