Originally created by DMA Design, the classic 1992 puzzle game Lemmings arrived on the SNES to challenge players with guiding hordes of mindless, green-haired rodents to safety. Left to their own devices, they will march blindly into hazards, so it is up to you to assign specific skills to navigate treacherous levels full of traps and reach the exit.
How to Play
Your objective is to safely guide a required percentage of Lemmings to the exit before time runs out. You must assign jobs like Builder, Basher, Blocker, or Floater to overcome the level’s obstacles. Use the Arrow Keys (D-pad) to move your cursor and scroll the map, Z / X (A / B buttons) to select and assign skills, and Enter (Start) to pause the game.
Tips
- Pausing the game stops the action but still lets you scroll around the map to plan your route without losing precious time.
- Blockers will stand in place forever; the only way to remove a Blocker once your path is safe is to turn them into a Bomber.
- If your path is fully constructed and secure, you can increase the spawn rate to get the rest of the horde out faster.
