Math Blaster: Episode One is a 1993 educational game by Davidson & Associates for the Super Nintendo. Players take on the role of Blasternaut, whose robot dog Spot has been kidnapped by the Trash Alien — the only way to win him back is fast, correct arithmetic. The game covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division at difficulty levels suited to grades one through six.
How to Play
Select a math operation and a difficulty level, then work through a series of activity-based challenges where solving equations correctly lets you advance. The game rewards accuracy above all; wrong answers cost you progress, so think before you commit to an answer. Use the D-pad to navigate menus and the A button to confirm your choices.

Tips
- Pick the difficulty level just above your comfort zone — too easy won’t build speed, and starting too hard turns the game into guessing.
- The game does not reward rushing; take a moment to calculate rather than blurting the first number that feels close.
