Game description:

Xak – The Art of Visual Stage is a classic action role-playing game developed by MicroCabin and brought to the SNES in 1993. Players take on the role of Latok Kart, a young warrior tasked with battling demons in a real-time combat system reminiscent of the early Ys titles.

How to Play

Guide Latok through monster-filled environments, exploring towns and dungeons while upgrading your gear. Since this is an SNES title, movement is handled with the D-pad (mapped to the arrow keys), while actions like attacking and using items are done with the face buttons (mapped to Z, X, A, and S) and Start (Enter).

Tips

  • Take time to level up before moving to new areas, as jumping into challenging dungeons while under-leveled is dangerous.
  • Stock up on restorative items in towns whenever possible to keep your health up during long explorations.
