Game description:

Golf (Japan) (Rev 1) is a classic sports title developed by Nintendo for the Famicom and NES. As one of the foundational entries in the genre, it established many mechanics seen in modern golf games, including a full 18-hole course and the iconic power meter.

Navigate the course using the directional pad to aim and adjust your stance. Press the A button to initiate your backswing, then press it again to set the power and execute the shot. The B button allows you to change clubs. In your browser, the standard NES layout applies: use the arrow keys to aim, Z for A, and X for B.

Always check the wind indicator before striking, as strong gusts will drastically alter the trajectory of the ball. Timing your second press on the swing meter is crucial, as missing the ideal mark will cause your shot to slice or hook into the rough.
