In the classic 1985 run-and-gun shooter Front Line, developed by Taito for the NES, you play as a lone soldier dropped behind enemy lines. Your mission is to battle through waves of enemy troops and vehicles to reach and destroy their main encampment.
How to Play
Advance upward through the battlefield, using rocks and brush for cover. Use the arrow keys (D-pad) to move, Z (A button) to fire your pistol, and X (B button) to throw grenades. When you find an empty tank, press the grenade button to climb inside and take control of its heavy weaponry.
Tips
- Tank Survival: Enemy fire will eventually destroy your tank. When it flashes or catches fire, immediately press the grenade button to jump out and survive the explosion.
- Watch Your Step: Grenades are incredibly powerful but have a short throwing arc. Take care not to get caught in your own explosions while advancing.
