Developed by Access Software in 1987, World Class Leader Board brought an ambitious golf simulation to the Sega Genesis. This sports title challenged players with digitized voice commentary, realistic ball physics, and demanding course designs that require careful club selection and wind calculation.
How to play
Players select their club and use a timing-based power meter to determine the strength and accuracy of their swing. Pay close attention to the wind indicator and course layout before taking your shot.

Tips
- When using the swing meter, aiming for a perfectly straight shot requires hitting the snap marker precisely; a slightly early or late press will introduce a hook or slice.
- Always account for wind speed and direction. If you are hitting into a strong headwind, consider clubbing up to ensure your shot covers the required distance.
- Pay attention to the lie of your ball. Hitting out of the rough or sand significantly reduces your power, making it safer to play back onto the fairway rather than attempting a risky long shot to the green.
