Crusader of Centy is an action-adventure game developed by Nextech and released for the Sega Genesis in 1994. Players control Corona, a 14-year-old boy who sets out with his father’s sword and gains the unique ability to speak with animals instead of humans. Blending real-time sword combat with exploration and puzzle-solving, the journey takes Corona across a monster-filled world while gradually revealing a deeper story about the nature of good and evil.
How to Play
Guide Corona through overhead towns, dungeons, and wilderness areas while using sword strikes and special animal abilities to overcome obstacles. Throughout your quest, you can recruit animal companionsโsuch as Mac the dog to hold enemies or Chilly the penguin to add ice attributes to your attacksโand combine their powers to solve environmental puzzles. Progress opens up new areas across the map as you gain new abilities and animal allies.

- Talk to Every Animal: Once Corona loses the ability to speak with humans, animals across the world become your primary source of hints, side quests, and key items.
- Master Sword Throwing: Certain companions allow you to throw your sword or guide its path, allowing you to hit distant switches and enemies without putting yourself in harm’s way.
