Super Rider is a challenging arcade motorcycle game released in 1983. It tasks you with navigating a dirt bike across rugged, side-scrolling obstacle courses. As an early entry in the physics-based racing genre, you must carefully balance your bike’s speed and pitch to clear steep hills, jumps, and hazards without crashing, all while racing against a strict time limit.
How to Play
Your goal is to reach the finish line of each dirt track before the timer expires. You must avoid crashing, as taking a spill will cost you valuable seconds. Use the default arcade emulator controls to play in your browser:
- Insert Coin: Right Shift
- Start: Enter
- Movement & Balance: Arrow Keys
- Action Buttons: Z and X
Tips
- Control your pitch: Simply holding the gas will often cause your bike to flip backward on steep inclines. Actively lean your rider forward to keep the front wheel grounded.
- Pace yourself: While you are racing a timer, rushing blindly into hazards is the fastest way to lose. It is often better to slow down and carefully maneuver over difficult obstacles than to crash.
