Dynamite Duke is an intense cabal-style gallery shooter released for the Arcade in 1989. You take control of Duke, a top-tier soldier armed with a powerful cybernetic arm, as he sets out to stop a rogue scientist’s mutant army.
How to play: You control Duke’s movement at the bottom of the screen while independently moving a crosshair to shoot enemies in the background. Use the directional controls to run and aim, the fire button to shoot or unleash melee attacks up close, and the bomb button to use a screen-clearing Dynamite attack. Insert coins with Shift and press Enter to start.
Tips: Keep moving to avoid incoming enemy fire, as standing still makes you an easy target. Watch out for power-up crates, which provide vital weapon upgrades that you will need to survive later stages. Use your Dynamite attacks sparingly for when you are truly overwhelmed.
