Game description:

Super Mario World 64 (Unl) is an unlicensed 2D side-scrolling platformer for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. Released by pirate developers in the late 1990s, this bootleg title attempts to recreate Mario’s platforming adventures on Sega hardware, featuring classic side-scrolling level layouts, coin collecting, and Genesis FM synth audio.

How to Play

Guide Mario through side-scrolling stages, jumping over obstacles, defeating enemies, and reaching the end of each level. Default browser controls for the Sega Genesis emulator:

  • D-Pad (Arrow Keys): Move left or right, duck, and navigate menus
  • Z Key (Genesis A Button): Attack / Special action
  • X Key (Genesis B Button): Jump
  • C Key (Genesis C Button): Run / Secondary action
  • Enter (Start): Start game / Pause
  • Shift (Mode): Select / Option toggle

Tips & Strategy

  • Mind the Jump Physics: Unlicensed bootleg titles often feature floatier or unique jump collision mechanics compared to official Nintendo titles, so time your platform landings early.
  • Collect Power-ups & Coins: Pick up coins and items along the path to build up your score and maintain survivability against enemy placement.
