Developed by U.S. Games for the Atari 2600 in 1982, Squeeze Box is an action shooter that traps you in a shrinking prison cell. Playing as a large jailbird, your only way out is to blast holes in the advancing walls before they crush you, moving from one claustrophobic room to the next.
How to Play
Your objective is to shoot the incoming wall blocks to create an escape route. The walls steadily close in on you, so you must align your character and clear a path quickly. Controls in the browser use the standard Atari joystick setup mapped to your keyboard:

Tips
- Because your character sprite is unusually large for an Atari 2600 game, you are an easy target for the walls. Focus on carving out vertical space as quickly as possible so you have room to maneuver.
- Prioritize shooting the wall blocks that are closing in the fastest, as getting crushed ends your run immediately.
