Secret of Evermore (USA) [Hack by FuSoYa v1.02] [Hack by Ninakoru v1.0] (Balance Enhancement – 2 Player Edition) is a combined fan modification for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It merges FuSoYa’s famous 2-Player Edition, which allows a second player to control the dog companion, with Ninakoru’s Balance Enhancement, which overhauls alchemy costs, weapon damage, and enemy stats for a more challenging and balanced action RPG experience.

How to Play

Explore the world, gather alchemy ingredients, and fight enemies in real-time combat. The game uses standard SNES controls. In your browser, the D-pad maps to the arrow keys, A/B/X/Y to Z/X/A/S, and Start/Select to Enter/Shift. To use the 2-player cooperative mode, a second set of inputs or a connected controller must be configured in your emulator settings.

Tips

• Ninakoru’s balance changes make grinding less necessary but alchemy ingredients more scarce. Conserve your most powerful spells for boss fights rather than using them on normal enemies.
• In 2-player mode, the dog is fully player-controlled. Have player two focus on physical attacks to save the boy’s alchemy ingredients for healing and critical damage.
