Game description:

Princess Sarah’s World is an extensive ROM hack of the classic Super Mario Bros. for the NES, created by developer Gabriel Dinu in 2020. The platformer features seven completely new worlds, updated graphics, and fresh music. You can play as either Sarah, the princess of the Stamata Kingdom, or her friend Erica, as they set out to rescue their kidnapped friend Emily and save the kingdom from a giant turtle’s invasion.

How to Play

Navigate the new worlds by running, jumping, and dodging enemies to reach the end of each stage. In your browser, use the Arrow Keys to move, Z to jump, and X to dash or use power-ups. Press Enter to start or pause the game.

Tips

  • Master momentum: Holding the dash button (X) before jumping allows you to clear much larger gaps.
  • Explore for secrets: Keep an eye out for invisible blocks containing extra lives and power-ups, often hidden in seemingly empty spaces.
