Bomberman II is a maze-action game developed and published by Hudson Soft for the NES in 1991. You guide the white-suited Bomberman through 64 stages across eight worlds, planting bombs to destroy destructible walls, collect power-ups, and eliminate every enemy before locating the hidden exit. Each stage fills a single screen; the tension is in managing blast radii and never trapping yourself in your own explosion.
How to play
Move Bomberman with the arrow keys and press X to drop a bomb. Bombs detonate after a short fuse, sending a cross-shaped blast in all four directions. The exit door is hidden under one of the destructible blocks and is revealed once every enemy in the stage has been defeated. A password at the start of each world lets you resume from where you left off.

Tips
- Always leave yourself an escape route before dropping a bomb â you cannot pass through your own blast.
- Fire power-ups increase your bomb’s blast radius; prioritise them to clear enemies and walls more efficiently.
- The exit only appears after every enemy is defeated â clear the stage quickly, as enemies speed up the longer a round runs.
