Game description:

Magical Tetris Challenge is a unique competitive puzzle game developed by Capcom and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. Starring classic Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, this colorful take on the iconic block-dropping formula adds a chaotic twist with the introduction of oversized magical blocks.

How to Play

The core objective remains true to the original: arrange falling pieces to clear horizontal lines. In the game’s story or versus modes, clearing multiple lines at once sends massive, irregularly shaped pentomino and hexomino blocks to your opponent’s screen, making it incredibly difficult for them to clear lines. Use the D-pad (Arrow keys) to move the falling pieces left and right, and press the A or B buttons (Z and X on your keyboard) to rotate them. Press Start (Enter) to pause the game.

Tips

  • Watch the Warning Indicators: When your opponent sends magical blocks, a flashing outline shows exactly where the oversized pieces will land, giving you a brief moment to adjust your current piece.
  • Go for Combos: Instead of clearing single lines, aim to clear two, three, or four lines at once to maximize the amount of garbage you send to your opponent.
