Released in 1995 by Electronic Arts Victor for the Super Famicom, Tactical Soccer is the strategy-focused sequel to Zico Soccer. Instead of traditional arcade-style gameplay where you directly control the athletes, this sports management title puts you in the manager’s seat, requiring you to direct team positioning, draw up plays, and outsmart opposing national teams from the sidelines.
How to play
Because of its unique tactical interface, gameplay is driven almost entirely by navigating through menus to issue commands. While originally compatible with the SNES Mouse, in the browser you can use the standard SNES controls: the D-pad (Arrow keys) to move the cursor, A/B/X/Y (Z/X/S/A) to select options and confirm your plays, and Start/Select (Enter/Shift) for menus.
