Developed by Character Soft and released for the NES in 1992, Hello Kitty World is an action-platformer built on the classic balloon-flight gameplay. Players guide Hello Kitty across various scrolling stages by floating with two balloons, navigating past hazards and enemies to safely reach the end of each level.

How to play

Your objective is to float through the stages without popping both of your balloons or falling into pits. Tap X (the A button) to flap and gain altitude, and press Z (the B button) to let go of your balloons and drop to the ground. Use the Arrow Keys (D-pad) to maneuver left and right or to walk on the ground.

Tips

If your balloons are popped or you drop them, you can pump new ones by standing safely on the ground and repeatedly pressing the Down Arrow.
Dropping your balloons intentionally with Z is often the fastest way to dodge an enemy coming from above or to collect items near the ground.
Watch out for birds and other flying enemies, as a single touch from them will pop one of your balloons and reduce your floating power.
