Eyes is a unique 1982 arcade maze shooter developed by Digitrex Techstar and published by Rock-Ola. Taking a different approach from standard dot-eating games of the era, you control a disembodied eyeball navigating a labyrinth. Instead of simply collecting items, you must shoot the dots to clear them while being hunted by hostile, computer-controlled eyes.
How to Play
Your objective is to shoot every dot in the maze to advance to the next level. Use the arcade controls to move and fire in four directions. Taking a hit from an enemy projectile is fatal. However, you can shoot the enemy eyes to temporarily remove them from the board before they respawn.
Tips
- You have unlimited ammunition, so fire constantly as you move to clear dots quickly and hit approaching enemies.
- Shooting enemy eyes only disables them briefly. Use that short window to clear out dense sections of the maze safely.
- As you progress through the eight different maze layouts, enemies become faster and more aggressive. Try to plan ahead and avoid getting cornered in dead ends.
