Eyes is a 1982 maze-shooter arcade game developed by Digitrex Techstar. While it looks like a traditional maze chase game, the gameplay flips the script: instead of eating dots, your hat-wearing eyeball must shoot every dot to clear the maze. You’ll need to stay on the move and keep firing as computer-controlled enemy eyes hunt you down and shoot back across eight distinct mazes.
How to play
Your objective is to shoot and clear all the dots in the maze to advance to the next level while avoiding or shooting the enemy eyes. Since this is an arcade game, use the arrow keys to move your eye through the maze and press Z, X, or Space to shoot your weapon. Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start.
Tips
- Keep moving: Enemy eyes will constantly track your position, so staying in one place makes you an easy target.
- Shoot first: You can shoot enemy eyes to temporarily remove them from the maze, giving you breathing room to clear remaining dots.
