Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers is a 1990 side-scrolling platformer for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Capcom. Based on the classic Disney animated series, the game follows the heroic chipmunks Chip and Dale as they rescue their friend Gadget and take on the criminal mastermind Fat Cat. Players navigate colorful stages filled with mechanical hazards, carrying and throwing crates, barrels, and heavy objects to defeat enemy henchmen.
How to Play
Guide Chip or Dale through each level by picking up and throwing crates at incoming enemies. Holding down while carrying a wooden crate lets your chipmunk hide inside it, providing temporary invulnerability against low-flying obstacles and patrolling foes. Collect stars and flowers across the stages to earn bonus points and extra lives.

Tips & Strategies
- Hide in Crates: Pick up a wooden box and press Down to duck inside it. Enemies that collide with the box will be destroyed without harming you.
- Heavy Objects: Heavy metal boxes and giant apples slow down your movement, but they bounce across the screen to hit multiple foes in a line.
- Bonus Zones: Gather 100 flowers or 10 stars to unlock bonus stages between levels, giving you a chance to stock up on 1UPs.
