Developed by Electronic Arts, Desert Strike is a tactical isometric shooter released for the Sega Master System in 1992. As an elite pilot, you control an Apache attack helicopter navigating hostile territory to rescue hostages, destroy enemy installations, and complete strategic military campaigns.
How to Play
Your primary objective is to manage your fuel, armor, and ammunition while completing various mission objectives across a sprawling map. Use the D-pad to maneuver your helicopter in multiple directions, Button 1 to fire your selected weapon, and Button 2 to cycle through your Hellfire missiles, Hydra rockets, and chain gun. On your keyboard, use the arrow keys to move, Z to fire, and X to switch weapons.
Tips
- Resource management is crucialโalways keep an eye on your fuel and ammo levels and memorize the locations of supply crates scattered across the map.
- Don’t waste your powerful Hellfire missiles on weak targets like infantry; save them for heavily armored structures and anti-aircraft guns.
