Flicky is a classic 1984 arcade platformer developed and published by SEGA for the Sega SG-1000. Playing as a small blue bird, your mission is to rescue lost chicks scattered across wrapping levels and guide them safely to the exit before roaming cats catch up with you.
How to Play
Guide Flicky around each stage to gather the chicks (Piopio), which fall into single-file line behind you, then lead them through the exit door. Collecting multiple chicks into a long chain before depositing them awards significantly higher bonus points, but trailing chicks are vulnerable if an enemy intercepts the line.
Use the Arrow keys (← →) to run left and right, and press Z or X (Button A / B) to jump over obstacles or toss collectible props like hammers and mugs at pursuing cats. Press Enter to start or pause the game.
Tips
Herding all chicks into one large line gives maximum point bonuses, but if a cat touches the chain, all chicks behind the point of contact scatter back onto the stage. If enemies are closing in, bank smaller groups early to secure your progress.
Keep an eye out for throwable objects like potted plants or teacups sitting on platforms. Snagging one lets you knock out pursuing cats temporarily when dropped or thrown, clearing a path to the exit.
