Chuugoku Janshi Story – Tonpuu is a traditional Mahjong game developed and published by Natsume for the NES in 1989. Released exclusively in Japan, the game incorporates a Jiangshi (Chinese hopping vampire) theme around standard Japanese riichi mahjong gameplay.

How to Play

The game follows standard Japanese Mahjong rules. Use the D-pad to navigate your hand and menus, press A to draw, discard, or select a tile, and use B to cancel actions. In the web browser, the NES controller maps to the arrow keys for directional movement, Z for the A button, X for the B button, Enter for Start, and Shift for Select.
