🎮 Play Burning Force Japan Online (Sega Genesis)

Burning Force is a forward-scrolling pseudo-3D shoot ’em up originally developed by Namco and ported to the Sega Genesis in 1990. Players control space cadet Hiromi Tengenji as she pilots her hoverbike—and later, a flying spacecraft—through six days of final exams at the Earth Space Academy, battling enemy drones and large mechanical bosses in fast-paced gameplay reminiscent of Space Harrier.

How to Play

The objective is to survive each training day by shooting down enemies and dodging incoming fire from a behind-the-ship perspective. Use the D-pad (arrow keys) to steer and adjust your speed, the A/B/C buttons (Z/X/C or A/S/D keys) to fire your primary weapon and launch missiles, and Start (Enter) to pause or begin the game.

Tips

• Watch for floating power-ups to upgrade your laser and gain access to homing missiles, which are essential for taking down larger enemies quickly.
• During the boss fights at the end of each day, your hoverbike transforms into an aerial spaceship. Use your newfound vertical mobility to dodge massive enemy barrages.
