Boulder Dash Greed is a custom ROM hack of the classic NES puzzle-strategy game Boulder Dash, created by Dragon Eye Studios. Playable directly in your browser, this modification retains the beloved core gameplay where players dig through dirt-filled caves, collect diamonds, and avoid deadly hazards.

How to Play

Your objective is to collect a required number of diamonds to unlock the exit door before time runs out. You must carefully maneuver to avoid being crushed by falling boulders or caught by roaming enemies. Use the D-pad to move and push objects, the A and B buttons for actions, and Start/Select for pausing and menus. In the browser emulator, these default NES controls are mapped to the arrow keys, Z and X, and Enter and Shift.

Tips

• Watch for falling objects: Boulders and diamonds will fall if the space beneath them is dug out. Avoid standing directly underneath them after clearing the dirt.
• Plan your route: Think ahead before digging. Creating the wrong path can trap you or block access to the diamonds you need to finish the level.
