NFL is an American football game for the NES, published by LJN and developed by Atlus in 1989. You call plays on both sides of the ball before each snap, then run the action on the field — driving downfield on offense or shutting down your opponent’s drives on defense.
How to play
Select your play from the menu, then control your players on the field. Keyboard controls for the browser version:
- Arrow keys — move / navigate menus
- X — A button (snap the ball, throw, tackle)
- Z — B button (hand off, kick)
- Enter — Start (confirm play, pause)
- Shift — Select
