Game description:

Released for the Arcade in 1980 by Namco, Puck Man (featured here in its original Japan Set 1 ROM) is the pioneering maze action game that would soon become famous worldwide as Pac-Man. You guide the iconic yellow protagonist through a neon-lit maze, eating dots while avoiding four distinct ghosts. It stands as a seminal piece of gaming history that defined the golden age of video games.

How to Play

Clear the maze of all dots to advance to the next level. Eating one of the four large Power Pellets temporarily turns the ghosts blue and vulnerable, allowing you to eat them for bonus points.

  • Move: Arrow Keys
  • Insert Coin: Shift
  • Start: Enter

Tips

  • Know the ghosts: Blinky (Red) chases you directly, while Pinky (Pink) targets the space four dots ahead of you to cut you off.
  • Tunnel escapes: You move slightly faster than the ghosts when traveling through the warp tunnels on the left and right sides of the screen.
