Game description:

Brought to the PlayStation in 1999, You Don’t Know Jack is a fast-paced, irreverent trivia party game that perfectly captures the chaos of a TV gameshow. Up to three players can compete in answering bizarre, pop-culture-infused questions while being relentlessly mocked by the game’s sarcastic host. It combines high-stakes trivia with humor, making it an excellent multiplayer experience.

How to Play

The objective is to finish the game with the most virtual cash by answering multiple-choice questions correctly and as quickly as possible. Since this is a PlayStation release, the default browser controls map the D-pad (arrow keys) to select categories and the X button (Z key) to buzz in and confirm answers. In multiplayer, each player buzzes in using their assigned button when they know the answer. Be prepared for the fast-paced “Jack Attack” round at the end, where word association timing is everything.

Tips

  • Use your “Screw” strategically: if you don’t know an answer but suspect an opponent doesn’t either, force them to answer. If they get it wrong, they lose cash and you gain it.
  • Read the categories carefully. The puns often hint at the real subject matter of the question.
  • Buzz in quickly, but don’t guess blindly. Wrong answers will drain your cash, and passing is sometimes the safer option.
