U.S. Championship V’Ball (Japan) is a classic 2-on-2 beach volleyball sports game developed by Technōs Japan and released for the NES in 1989. Featuring fast-paced arcade gameplay, you compete in a high-stakes tournament across famous American beaches to claim the national championship.
How to Play
The objective is to score points by grounding the ball on the opponent’s side of the court using standard volleyball rules. Work with your AI or human partner to receive, set, and spike the ball over the net.
- Move: Arrow keys
- Jump / Block: Z key (A button)
- Hit / Serve / Receive: X key (B button)
- Start / Select: Enter / Shift keys
Tips
- Power Spikes: Timing your jump perfectly as the ball reaches its peak allows you to perform a devastating power spike that is much harder for the opposing team to block.
- Positioning: When receiving a serve, try to stay centered on your side of the court. Your partner will automatically help set up the ball if you receive it cleanly.
