Published by Hi-Tech Expressions in 1990, this DOS action game loosely adapts the classic animated short film “The Yankee Doodle Mouse”. You control Jerry in a basement setting as you attempt to survive and fight back against Tom using a variety of cartoon-style attacks.
How to play
Your objective is to avoid Tom’s traps while earning points by retaliating with your own attacks, such as tossing eggs, driving a small car, or dropping lightbulbs from a cardboard airplane. Move using the Arrow Keys, jump with Enter, and perform an action or attack using Insert or Numpad 0. You can press F1 to toggle sound and Esc to pause the game.
Tips
Keep moving around the basement. If you try to hide inside the walls or stand on the egg-tossing platform for too long, Tom will actively retaliate by throwing dynamite or shooting a plunger gun at you.
