Developed by Dave Baskin in 1984, Bouncing Babies is a frantic arcade-style action game for DOS. Inspired by classic handheld LCD games, you take on the stressful role of two firefighters holding a trampoline, tasked with rescuing infants who are leaping from a burning building.
How to Play
The goal is simple but demanding: position your firefighters beneath the falling babies to bounce them safely across the screen into the waiting ambulance. Miss a catch, and you lose a life. Control the firefighters using the left and right arrow keys to scramble back and forth. You can toggle fullscreen mode by pressing Right Alt + Enter.
Tips
- Anticipate the bounce: The babies bounce across the screen in an arc, meaning you’ll need to move quickly to catch the same baby multiple times before they reach the ambulance.
- Prioritize the lowest: When multiple babies are falling at once, always focus your attention on catching the one closest to the ground.
