Taito Memorial – Bubble Bobble is a 2000 Game Boy Color adaptation of the iconic arcade platformer. This faithful handheld release by Taito preserves the classic bubble-bursting action, challenging players to clear 100 single-screen stages of enemies as the dragons Bub and Bob.

How to Play

The objective is to clear each stage by trapping every enemy in a bubble and popping it before they can escape. Move with the D-pad (Arrow keys), jump with the A button (Z key), and blow bubbles with the B button (X key). You can also bounce on top of your own bubbles by holding the jump button to reach higher platforms.

Tips

• Try to group trapped enemies together and pop them all at once to earn valuable food items and massive score bonuses.
• Do not linger too long on a level; if you take too much time, the invincible Baron von Blubba will appear and relentlessly chase you down.
