Game description:

Moon Crystal is a 1992 action platformer developed by Hector for the NES. Famous for its remarkably fluid, cinematic character animationsโ€”rare for the 8-bit eraโ€”the game follows a young boy named Ricky on a quest to rescue his kidnapped family from an evil count.

How to play: Navigate through challenging, multi-directional scrolling stages by jumping, climbing ledges, and striking enemies with your sword. On a standard keyboard, use the Arrow Keys to move, X to jump, Z to attack, Enter for Start, and Shift for Select.

Tips: Ricky’s attacks have a slight delay due to the detailed animation frames; time your sword strikes a split second earlier than you would in typical platformers. When jumping gaps, hold towards the edge to catch the ledge and hoist yourself up.
