Street Racer was among the nine games bundled with the Atari 2600 at its September 1977 launch. Developed by Atari, Inc., it is a top-down driving game with several built-in variations — you steer a car through oncoming traffic while a score climbs, racing the clock or a second player. Use the SELECT switch to try a few variations; the difficulty and ruleset shift enough that it is worth exploring before settling on one.

Tips
- Cycle through a few SELECT (F11) variations before committing — the challenge and rules shift noticeably between game numbers.
