River Patrol is a 1981 Atari 2600 action game originally developed for arcades by Orca Corporation and published on the console by Tigervision. You pilot a patrol boat down a rushing river, steering around logs, rocks, and other hazards while plucking survivors from the water before the current takes them. Obstacles multiply as the game progresses, and with no continues on offer, only the score measures how well each run went.
How to Play
Steer the patrol boat with the arrow keys (Player 1 joystick) and press Space to use the trigger. Collect survivors drifting in the river while threading through the obstacles that increasingly crowd the channel. Press F11 to cycle game options before a run, F12 to reset, and Alt+P to pause.
