Game description:

Space Harrier II is a classic pseudo-3D rail shooter developed by Sega and released as a launch title for the Genesis. You control Harrier, flying relentlessly forward through the Fantasy Zone while blasting waves of alien enemies and dodging fast-approaching obstacles and enemy fire.

How to Play

The objective is to survive through multiple stages, defeating a boss at the end of each. Use the D-pad (Arrow Keys) to fly around the screen and dodge incoming attacks. Press the A, B, or C buttons (Z, X, or C keys) to fire your weapon. Movement is constant, so staying agile is essential to avoid enemy fire.

Tips

  • Keep moving in a circular pattern around the edges of the screen to reliably dodge most enemy projectiles.
  • Pay attention to the ground; ground-based obstacles can approach very quickly and take you by surprise.
  • There is no ammo limit, so keep firing continuously to clear out enemies before they get a chance to attack.
