Snake’s Revenge is a 1990 stealth action game developed by Konami for the NES, created as a sequel to the original Metal Gear. You infiltrate heavily guarded enemy bases, mixing the series’ classic top-down stealth exploration with new side-scrolling action segments.
How to play
Your objective is to avoid detection, gather key cards to open new areas, and sabotage the enemy’s new superweapon. Use the Arrow Keys to move, Z to punch or use your combat knife, and X to fire your equipped weapon. Press Enter to pause and access your inventory or radio, and Shift to select your equipment.
Tips
Silencers are essential; firing an unsuppressed weapon will immediately trigger an alert and summon guards. In the side-scrolling areas, take it slowly and watch enemy patrol patterns before moving, as taking damage or falling into pits can quickly end your run.
