Game description:

Skull & Crossbones is an action platformer released for the NES in 1990 by Tengen. Players control the pirates One Eye and Red Dog, venturing through various locales to battle ninjas, the undead, and rival pirates to rescue a princess and stop an evil wizard. Originally an arcade game, this unlicensed NES port brings the swashbuckling adventure directly to your browser.

How to play

Navigate the stages by fighting off enemies and collecting items to progress. The NES controls map to your keyboard: use the arrow keys to move, Z to attack, X to jump, and Enter to pause the game.

Tips

  • Your sword attack can deflect incoming projectiles if timed correctly.
  • Collect food items dropped by defeated enemies or hidden in barrels to restore your health.
