Road Rash is a classic motorcycle racing game released for the Game Gear in 1991 by Electronic Arts. Players compete in illegal street races across various locations, but unlike standard racing titles, winning requires fighting off rival bikers with fists and clubs while dodging oncoming traffic and avoiding the police.
How to Play
The objective is to finish each race in the top three to advance, earning money to buy better, faster bikes along the way. Watch out for road hazards and keep an eye on your bike’s damage meter.

Tips
- Steal weapons: You can punch rivals who have clubs. Time it right to steal their weapon, giving you a massive advantage in brawls.
- Mind the intersections: Watch out for crossroads and oncoming cars. A head-on collision causes much more damage to your bike than wiping out on a turn.
- Outrun the law: When a police officer approaches, focus on accelerating and pulling ahead. Getting pulled over after a crash instantly ends your race.
