Developed by Naughty Dog and released by Electronic Arts in 1991, this ambitious isometric RPG for the Sega Genesis throws you into a massive, open-ended world. You step into the role of a young sorcerer tasked with tracking down eleven scattered rings to restore the Rod of Creation and defeat the dark god Void. With hundreds of NPCs, a day-night cycle, and almost no hand-holding, it offers a deeply non-linear experience where exploration and careful resource management are just as important as combat.
How to play
Your main objective is to assemble a party, gather the lost rings, and navigate the vast map. Combat is turn-based and relies heavily on positioning and managing magic points. Use the controls below to navigate menus, talk to NPCs, and cast spells.

Tips
- Watch your supplies: Traveling across the map consumes food and water. Always stock up in towns before embarking on long journeys, or your party will suffer damage.
- Take notes: The game does not feature a quest log or mini-map markers. Write down important locations, coordinates, and NPC hints so you do not get lost.
- Bribe for information: Many NPCs will only reveal crucial secrets or the locations of rings if you offer them enough money.
