Puzznic is an arcade-style puzzle game released by Taito in 1989 for the NES. You control a cursor to slide blocks left and right, trying to bring matching symbols together so they disappear. Gravity is the main obstacle: blocks will fall if moved off a ledge, and once they drop, you cannot lift them back up. Your goal is to clear the board before the timer runs out.
How to play
Match blocks with identical symbols to clear them from the board. You can slide blocks horizontally, but they will fall if pushed off an edge.

Tips
- Look for odd numbers of blocks. If a symbol has three blocks, you must connect all three at once; matching two will leave the third stranded and force a restart.
- Plan your drops carefully. Because you cannot lift blocks upwards, dropping a block into a pit without its matching partner means the level is unwinnable.
