Game description:

Puzznic World is a classic tile-matching puzzle game developed by Taito and released for the Arcade in 1989. Players must navigate a series of challenging, single-screen levels by matching identical blocks to clear the board before the strict timer runs out.

How to Play

Use the arrow keys to move your cursor and press the action button (Z, X, or Shift) to grab and slide the selected block horizontally. When two or more blocks with the same symbol touch, they disappear. Gravity affects all blocks, meaning any block pushed over a ledge will fall. You must use this to align blocks on different elevations. Press Space to insert a coin and Enter to start.

Tips

  • Think before you move: Sliding a block into a pit or a corner without a match will often render the level unsolvable, forcing you to restart.
  • Work from the top down: Since gravity plays a major role, clearing blocks at the top first helps prevent accidentally trapping necessary blocks at the bottom.
