Mickey’s Chase (released in North America as Mickey’s Dangerous Chase) is a 2D side-scrolling platformer for the Game Boy, developed by Now Production and published in Japan by Kemco in 1992. Players can choose to play as either Mickey or Minnie Mouse on a mission to retrieve a birthday present stolen by Pete.
How to Play
Use the D-pad to move and duck, and press A to jump. The key mechanic is picking up and throwing blocks to defeat enemies, which is done by pressing B when standing next to a block. In the browser emulator, the Game Boy controls map to the arrow keys for movement, Z to jump (A), and X to throw blocks (B). Press Enter for Start and Shift for Select.
Tips
- You cannot jump on enemies to defeat them; you will take damage instead. Always use your blocks to clear the path ahead.
- Look out for items floating in the air; throw blocks at them to collect extra health and 1-Ups.
