This unofficial release of the classic 1982 platformer plays identically to Sun Electronics’ original arcade cabinet. Controlling a mother kangaroo wearing boxing gloves, your goal is to scale treacherous platforms and climb trees to rescue your kidnapped joey. Navigating each screen requires timing jumps perfectly while avoiding or fighting off pesky monkeys that constantly barrage you with apples.
How to Play
Guide the mother kangaroo to the top of the level to reach her baby. The browser-based arcade emulator uses the Arrow keys for movement, the Z and X keys to jump and punch, Shift to insert a virtual coin, and Enter to start.
Tips
- You do not always have to dodge the apples; your kangaroo can punch thrown apples out of the air to stay safe.
- Watch out for monkeys dropping apples from directly above you when you are climbing ladders.
- Ringing the bells scattered across the stages will cause high-scoring fruits to appear for a limited time.
